Tree Bark

The rain is back today, My legs are in a huff from two days of too much walking combined with a poor night's sleep. and, as a result, my "to do" list is in tatters. I've read  the news on my Ipad, done crosswords  and puzzles, knitted, checked my bank account, watched TV on the Iplayer, shopped at the Pillars, walked at BIrnie, photographed some bark and came home in trousers covered in muddy paw prints. The dog's owner was very upset and apologetic but cheered up when I told her that most dogs made a bee line for me. The paths were all pretty muddy anyway.  Everywhere is saturated.
