Native

This plant is called Oregon Grape because they are replaced with little grape-like berries after the flowers fade. I have been trying to plant native plants in my garden to cut down on the need for water; I need to do something different where I have grass. I thought about using artificial grass but I just read how bad it is for the environment, ugh!! Perhaps I will landscape it as Kate did with her yard; I walk by her former home and enjoy the grassless front yard.
