In Bloom

This woody, thorn covered, little dessert plant spends most of every year looking a lot like Charlie Brown's Christmas Tree.  It's spindly with a few leaves that droop towards the ground as if it is waiting to fall over.
     But once a year it pulls out all the stops and puts on a beautiful face.  It's almost hard to see the briers.
