Wasp hors d'oeuvres

Not the best angle on this juvenile Butcher Bird (I think it is the Grey Butcherbird) but I had no time to get a better one and it also meant shooting into the light.  It's mum or dad was with it up on my guttering and the next minute, mum or dad took off and it flew over into the Banskia Rose and came back with this wasp and proceeded to eat it.

I was fascinated looking at it's tongue here.  Nom nom nom.
