Saturday morning sunshine

On the way into town to do a few errands, I visited a favourite cherry tree.  It's in an area that has a mix of abandoned factories, factories still in use and factories repurposed as flats and trendy clubs. The jury's out as to the overall direction of travel.  The morning's sunshine had me out and about with the camera for the first time in a while.
There are, in fact, two trees: one mature and flourishing, the other a stump that has resprouted at some point in the past. I like them for their improbable status as survivors in an unforgiving setting.
