Shadows & Light

A morning’s painting class, followed by lunch with Kendall and a trip to Sauvie Island. Shapes, shadows and light on canvas in the studio, and also on our walk to the edge of a marsh filled with birdsong, ducks, and the remarkable sounds of the Pileated Woodpecker hammering away high up and out of sight.
