A sunny start

Today was the opposite of yesterday, starting off with beautiful sunshine, clouding over late morning, and at 4pm when I am writing this, it has just started to rain. I’m very glad I headed up to the reservoir early this morning as it was gorgeous weather for a walk, plenty of other people also had the same idea.  I could see a large group of geese over the other side of the water and thought I might get some photos of them but the path was shut for remedial works so I had to retrace my steps.
The rest of the day has been spent cooking. My daughter and boyfriend are coming for dinner and I always make far too many dishes, they won’t however go to waste!
