Carpe diem

After the driest spell for several months - though there has still been some rain - the forecast for the next few days is not as good.

Fortunately at lunchtime I managed to get what is a very early first cut of the front lawn, though it’s moss and weed ridden state gives evidence of how damp and dismal the winter has been.

Hopefully new growth will help to heal it though more active intervention will be required too.
