Changes

Today I took David to the University of Nottingham Open Day - his third open day in 3 days, my first.

It is a lovely campus, the course is excellent (he wants to study economics - the course content is now unrecognisable from the dry and dull economics degree I studied for 30 years ago!), but his first choice is the London School of Economics; we are off there on Wednesday, and I am going to try and get myself in one of btc's Blips!

I felt a bit strange standing in one of the rooms in the hall of residence, imagining my boy living there. Lots of changes ahead for us all.
