I had planned a quiet day until L decided she was heading down wanting to go shoe shopping…I knew before we went it was likely to be a fruitless and thankless task and so it proved to be! We then had to pick up some food for tea as I’d been going to have leftovers which wouldn’t have stretched to two.

Although it’s been a largely sunny day, which was welcome after the grey and wet weather thus far this week, there’s been a cold and blustery wind…it was very bracing when we walked the prom late this afternoon.
