Bo'ness children's fair e'en.
The Clan in law met up in Bo'ness for a traditional carry-oot and walk round the arches.
The town comes alive on this night, with bands playing, children showing off their arches, wee girls out on the street with their hair in rollers and adults meeting up after a year of not seeing each other. "The Fair", brings the community together in such a gentle friendly way, it really does surprise me every year. Sister in law Gillian, was stopped every few feet by people she knows, for a quick chat, but we managed to get round a few arches.
After a day in Edinburgh waiting for Calumet to do a sensor clean on my Nikon, my wee feet were complaining.
But......
I wouldn't miss it for the world.
It was great to see the wee bro in law and his gorgeous two girls back from Morocco for a visit.
The blip is the doll's house built for Queen Malia by her family and friends. It is bigger than her actual house which is a terraced house behind this. The small doll's house is obviously for another child who is one of the fairies.
