Fell Pony

I was down Mungrisdale a couple of weekends ago and notice a lack of fell ponies who usually reside there and often block the road.
Now I know where they were…on Matterdale Common. Maybe they bring them here over winter as the slopes of the Northern Fells down Mungrisedale can be an inhospitable place to be in winter.
This little beauty came to see me, obviously hoping for some food. All it got was a nose scratch!
Spent the afternoon watching the FA Cup quarter finals.
