Time for a snooze...

It's clearly a hard life being a cygnet. Back at Blackford Pond for another picnic with T and to catch up with the swan family. It's been two weeks since I've seen them and the cygnets have grown up a lot. They are much bolder and coming out onto the bank if bread is on offer. They're losing their down and are looking quite punky with spiky head feathers - and I have to say that they've now rather lost the "Aaah" factor. However, I reckoned that this guy still had a bit of it.
