Manky

With the rapid arrival of autumn there are many changes in my garden.  One very noticable are the hydrangea flowerettes.  Lots of acne, changes of tones and some curling up of the petals.  I don't mind this at all, beauty inperfection.
What a miserable day today has been....drizzly this morning, low overcast all day and very cool.  We lit the fire and have been snuggly inside.
Rugby watching this morning - Ireland v Scotland,  and what great viewing.  We passed on the England v France game but another very close score line....and we won't talk about Wales (oh dear).
I was surprised and pleased of course with the response to yesterdays blip - thanks so much, you're a very kind group.
