Another trip to the country side

I undertook the first long 70 km trip with my new "Gazelle heavy duty bike". As i don t have a care anymore, i need a sturdy bike for shopping and carrying goods. The problem is the heavy weight of the bike (23kg). It is also not an E-bike as i m not in favor of it.Mostly i drive quite slow (average 16 km/h ) and enjoy nature and the passing surroundings. I drove allong the canal from Bruhes to Oostende, then further on to Raverszijde, passing the airport and back home.Arrived home in early evening  just in time to have a small beverage as my bloodsugar began to sink to a low level.
