Cinders

I would like to go to the ball (figuratively speaking) but unfortunately I'm certain more like Cinders in her post-midnight guise. I've spent much of the day scrubbing quarry tiles because the man I paid £400 to do it made such a mess of it I'm redoing the job.

My day:
1. Get grumpy with builder
2. Try to cajole plumber
3. Meet Lois for lunch (she's decided to drop the ï in a bid to look modern and streamlined)
4. Buy new mop
5. Scrub
6. Scrub
7. Scrub
8. Scrub
9. Scrub myself
10. Flop on sofa with a film

If anyone finds a pumpkin carriage, it's for me.
