Wigan Half Marathon

The Wigan Run Festival is quite a big event these days, with a half marathon, 5K run and kids 1K today, all starting in Mesnes Park, and a very popular 10K later in the year.....many local charities benefit, but especially the Joining Jack campaign, which supports Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy research.
This was the start of the Half Marathon, in pouring rain, with over 1000 entrants.
