Frogs everywhere

Nice relaxing morning and then off up onto the moor for a lovely walk. Packed sandwich and coffee. Sun shining but still put on hats and gloves. It was colder on the moor, but nice.
Hetty was startled by a frog and then we noticed lots on the path and on the bank. I think there were some toads as some looked very different in both colour and shape.
Lots of snipe, curlew and lapwings. A couple of hours reading before cooking dinner. Also a few cyclists on the shooting tracks.
