This is our new duck pond. 

Been a very busy day. After doing the horses this morning we moved the chicken run and dug a big hole for the duck pond. The ducks were very very happy! 

Zoe dropped in as she's not seen the house yet. Then me and Eva had to dash off for riding lessons. We had to hire an arena as our school is just not usable at the moment, which makes things so much more expensive. But it was a great lesson. We ended up riding together as Buddy didn't want to stay on the lorry on his own. Did a jumping exercise to slow Jack down after his fences with circles around a ground pole after the fence. Really got them thinking and Eva had a big smile on her face. I'm not sure I was in the right head space for a lesson today (stressful family situation trying to decide what's best for Mum on discharge from hospital) but I did manage to switch off a bit. 

Mike spent the rest of the afternoon fencing off the duck area which took longer than expected so he didn't get any more done on his workshop roof :0(
