Versailles Palace

Today we went to the Palace of Versailles in the morning. It was incredibly hot today which was a bit unpleasant when we had to wait almost 2 hours in a queue to get into the palace. Inside there were lots of paintings and fancy decoration.
In the afternoon we got an exclusive tour of the town hall where they told us about their council meetings and the various uses of the rooms.
There was great excitement as just before we went in a boy from our school almost got pick-pocketed but his friend saw and managed to stop it which was lucky.
Afterschool my partner took me to the Palace gardens which were huge! This picture is a view from the gardens to the palace.
