Marilee's Garden Art

A few days each month, Marilee opens her 'closet' and sells high quality designer clothing that is lightly used and in excellent shape.  If you love Johnny Was but simply can't (or won't) pay $300 for an embroidered blouse, chances are you can find the same blouse at Marilee's for a fraction of the cost.  Marilee knows her stuff and has an amazing collection of women's clothing. I was shocked to learn that she machine washes EVERYTHING - cashmere sweaters, embroidered silk... She knows all the tricks of how to keep clothing looking new.  A friend and I perused the closets of Marilee today and each found a couple of  'must have' items.  It was a beautiful sunny day and afterwards we strolled through Marilee's tiny yet incredible garden.   She creatively arranged  pieces of broken teapots, cups, saucers,  statues, tiles, whatever  tchotchkes she had collected along the base of her house.  It's the most interesting display of  pique assiette (broken tile/ceramic mosaic) I've seen.
