Covid

It was cold in Dunedin this morning when we stepped out of the hotel to find a café for breakfast.  We remembered one we’d been to before and found it just up the road.  We had rice pudding (why not?) with quinoa, stewed apple, fresh apple batons and cranberry crumbs.  It was delicious.  After breakfast we walked back to the hotel, packed our bag, and set off for home.

The drive was uneventful and when we arrived home we did a Covid test as we were both feeling below par.  Unfortunately, we both tested positive.  MrMacD has been in bed since mid-afternoon.  I went to bed for a while but decided to get up so I could hopefully sleep through the night.  I must admit to not feeling well.  There are now 10 from our group of 14 cyclists who have tested positive.

It has been raining solidly since we arrived home, which is wonderful as it’s badly needed.

I haven’t felt up to dipping into blip journals or replying to comments, but I’ll get onto that tomorrow.  Thank you for all the stars, they are very much appreciated.
