Anemone blanda

One of the early Anemone, sometimes known as "Grecian Windflower" grows from very thin rhizomes. Given the correct position can spread quickly to form a blue carpet. These ones photographed in a lawn were not planted by me but appear to have seeded from those I planted close by.
