Lunch

An early start to finish off the cooking for today’s lunch, with five friends coming round for the afternoon. 3 of them are ex colleagues and 2 of them are friends from the village. We hadn’t seen any of them at this house before so a get together was long overdue. The food was well received, mainly slight adaptations of recipes from East (cookbook acquired at Christmas) and it was an enjoyable time catching up with people. All of the othh he wrapped had dog issues which reinforced my view that I really don’t want the burden of owning a dog at the moment. The table photo is where we had the lunch. Forgot to take one when the food was there.
