A day of two halves

A lovely start to the day with warm sunshine. Friends popped round for a coffee as we won’t be seeing them for a bit when they go south to visit family. We stood out in the garden without coats, chatting happily, soaking up the vitamin D.

Fast forward a few hours and it was a blustery, damp afternoon and I had to don my winter jacket, hat and gloves to walk Bertie. We were very happy to have a glowing wood burning stove as we settled down for the evening.
