Primroses
I am so glad I keep the verge in front of the house scruffy because at this time of year we get the joy of primroses. My father cherished a scruffy front garden and we were rewarded with carpets of them on the banks of the lawn in the spring. The lovely mix of the wild pale yellow and the occasional dusky pink which adds up to that soft spring tapestry. There aren’t any of the pink here yet but there are roundabout so I am hoping they migrate. Now I need to double check when to mow to maintain them. I think I read end of July and end of October.
day working at home, finished the huge book that got submitted to us - it’s wonderful but far too expensive to realise out of the UK. Listened to the music for episode 5.
Popped over to Mum in the morning to be there when a nurse called and stayed for a delicious lunch cooked by Thembi. Perks!
