I think this is starting to shake itself out of its winter stupor - it gets pretty cold by that draughty window. Although if it starts sprouting like crazy it’ll just get cut back again so it can take its own sweet time.
Out trudging the golf course glaur again this morning and it was still proving hard work with such heavy ground but at least I beat Dave for a change. This is the final week of the Winter League so there’s no need to fill in a score for the next couple of weeks before hopefully the course will have dried out and we can enjoy some warmer Spring golf. We’ll see.
And speaking of Spring, I sowed some seeds for bringing on in propagators before planting out in the allotment in a month or so. All were old though so not sure how many will germinate - sadly for once, these Best Before dates are often correct.
