16.00  -  11°C  -  7 mph W Wind Speed  -  11 mph Gusts  -  Overcast.  Shopped in Savers and Aldis this morning.  When I got home the Postie had left this month’s Scottish Wildlife magazine for me.   When I was a child the red Squirrel was the norm  -  then the grey Squirrel almost ousted them from their normal land living quarters  -  for instance, the annual Great Scottish Squirrel Survey in October 2023 only spotted 2,000 red Squirrels!  Fortunately, with the Scottish Wildlife Trust efforts are being made to ensure that red Squirrels can be protected.
