Distraction

Been very busy today!

As soon as I got home from doing work in the garden of the holiday lodge I set about some weeding at home. As keen as I was to get the border weeded, I had the camera beside me just in case I came across anything interesting.

This pretty little snail gave me a reprieve from my hard work.

The snail was on a dandelion leaf which was blowing about all over the place making it difficult to photograph with the narrow depth of field you have when you're only inches from your subject. So, I switched my focus to manual, broke off the leaf so that I could move it about as the snail moved to keep it in focus.

When time allows I will back-blip the missing days. Thanks for looking at a time when I haven't been able to comment on other peoples journals!
