Gently down the stream

Ground Ivy

Glechoma hederacea

Today has been a day of sick dogs and visits to the bank (unconnected).  It's also been grey and damp.  Not at all the sort of day I'd hoped so I never got up to Morn Hill to blip cowslips.  Instead you have here some ground ivy from my front garden and another little nudge about the WildFlowerWeek challenge which begins in less than a fortnight.

At a guess, ground ivy flowers are approximately half a cm across, so I thought this would be okay for Tiny Tuesday.  Very many thanks to PinkHairedLady for hosting this month.

And I hope the day's treated you kindly  xx
