Kip in the Kirk
This very plain building was originally the United Free Church until 1939 when it linked with the Church of Scotland elsewhere in the village. The windows are a clue.
Thereafter it was used as a church hall for all sorts of activities: Brownies, Guides and Scouts, jumble sales, Sunday School, badminton, etc.
The building is now privately owned and has been converted into a B&B, hence the 'Kip in the Kirk' sign.
