The Back of the Village

We set off for a walk from home, without any real plan, to the extent that when we reached the road we hesitated; should we turn left or right?
We went left and 100m further decided to head of down the fields walking on the snowmobile tracks. We ended up behind the village in an area we don't visit so often, because it's a rather boggy area, and it's hard to exit the area without walking through someone's garden. The hard frozen snow took care of the first problem, and the felling of a small area of scrappy forest took care of the second one.
We followed the snowmobile track on the left, up to the back of the big farm, which is seen at the top of the slope. Then we passed through a gap between their old barn and the neighbour's house. This is where the trees were recently felled.
All day we had this beautiful sky of dappled cloud, but the sun shone most of the time. Another very nice day.
