Flowers and fruit
A bit of an emergency blip! The flowers in the foreground were from our daughter and family for Mothering Sunday, and those beyond were from friends who came round for coffee last week. The apples are left over from Mr PP's baking apple scones. Looks as if we'll need to have more. (He he he.)
Time would be a fine thing, though! Daughter is still in agony with her trapped nerve, and I'm still in pain with my swollen tonsils, and Mr PP is aching with his hip (though he's the one who doesn't moan about it). Fear he's overdoing it. Well, we all are, but what do you do?!
'The other granny' helped out this morning and we took over this afternoon. It's hard work, though, as the little ones are on the go all the time, and the young master's grizzly with teething. His red cheeks speak volumes. You can tell when the Calpol's kicked in and again when it's wearing off. Same with me and paracetamol. Daughter's painkillers barely scratch the surface, but she's been using an ice pack, too.
This blip might turn into a whinge if I'm not careful so I'll stop! Another early night beckons... (And thank you, blipmates, for your kind words.)
