No Power and no water.....

.....What a way to start the long weekend! Woke up to no power and water, the power had been out since the night before. A water main had broken in our townhouse complex and in the process of fixing it they took the power out as well. Lucky no one was hurt! It is now almost 7 p.m. and the power back on with generators. We went out for breakfast and found the flashlights, a good thing the sun came out today for some light. Since we couldn't do too much at home we did some errands and came home to have a light lunch on the patio where I saw this colourful fellow sitting on a fern leaf. Hope the repairs are fixed soon and the weather is good for the fireworks on Canada Day, July 1st!
