Perfect Three

Saw this nest in the crepe myrtle, reached up and took a blind picture of the inside and surprise it has eggs! I had Willy pull around the lawnmower (since he's loaned out our ladder) and I stood up in the cart to get a better shot. The mother bird was nowhere to be seen. I hope it's not an abandoned nest and I also hope when and if the chicks hatch our cat, Fritz, will leave them alone.
