The last day of winter

TUESDAY

We are almost three weeks into the weather forecasters' meterological spring but I have always gone with the belief that the season starts at the vernal equinox which this year happens at 03:06 am tomorrow (Wednesday).

Today was very spring-like and I spent a couple of hours in the garden tidying up a rockery area at thew side of the driveway. A short walk around the village late afternoon helped me hit my 10,000 step target.

The forecast for the first day of spring tomorrow is pretty grim with cloud and rain for most of the  day.
