Another call to the Inland Rev today, to try to get the last one of my pension qualifying years sorted out. It turns out that they quoted me the wrong amount to be paid for the year in question, so I had to pay a little bit more. It should be sorted within 8 weeks...
My cafetiere broke, and when we turned on the valve that lets water through to the outside tap, we had an unexpected shower! But we got some gardening done. Elder Son's negotiations for a pay rise have got off to a positive start (we'll hear more this evening) and I bought a new-to-me vase from the flea market in town. So all in all, a good day.
