The Old Coventry Cathedral (Widwed200324)

We were all set for some pavement clean up this morning with Keep Kineton Beautiful, but rain stopped play. So, off the Coventry to see the Wildlife Photographer of the Year photos at the Herbert Art Gallery, which is right next to the two cathedrals.

My blip is a view down the nave in the old Cathedral which was fire damaged in WW2.  In the extra you can see some of the 1960s new Cathedral which was in use today for a graduation ceremony. 

Coventry University is opposite the cathedrals.  Some of this area looks very similar to how it was when I was a student there in 1980! 
Sadly, the rest of the town centre does look a little neglected.
