Is it upright?

As in straight. Well it was, but not now. A warm sunny day, perfect for gardening and setting up posts for raspberries. A big thank you to neighbour and lovely person N who just happened to have four strong posts and yes, the wire to support the canes later on. Also supplied by N was the post knocker, a great piece of equipment, as in heavy and very effective. Fortunately there are only four post to knock in.

In hind sight - thinking about back 3-4 weeks - I thought our own raspberries would be an added bonus in the garden giving no thought to what was required to plant them. This was very much a joint effort, I am always appreciate the support from John and friends when needed.

We have planted 3 summer and 3 autumn canes. Please produce some fruit. Other gardening jobs done if not completed, included making a start in the polytunnel.

An add on: we had lunch outside today, admittedly with some shelter.
