Blackthorn in blossom

I had arranged to walk with Carmen at 7.30 this morning, but she contacted me to ask for a 7.45 start, as she wanted to celebrate the Vernal Equinox at dawn!  I wasn’t sure what this involved but an extra quarter of an hour in bed for me was a bonus!
Later I did some housework, cleaned a carpet in the gîte, and packed for our trip to the UK this weekend.
