Cherry blossom time
I don't often go into the park/playground, as it's primarily a space for children and their families, but when I walked down Vicarage Lane quite late in the afternoon, the wind and drizzle had clearly deterred most people from venturing out. The beautiful pink of the cherry blossom caught my eye, and as I tried to frame it without a background of playground equipment, I discovered this pretty seat tucked behind shrubs. It would be an inviting place to hide with a book on a sunny day, though in our current weather it looked damp and dreary. At the bottom of the lane there are more flooded and waterlogged fields: we are almost at the equinox, the hedgerows are full of celandines and primroses, but it seems it will never stop raining.
Home was rather dreary too, as we had a weekend offline with endless long scans of our computers. J's desktop was infected with a particularly nasty Trojan which the Microsoft system was unable to remove, and additional software found a second one. Thanks to P everything is now as safe as he can make it, but we will need to take tedious precautions such as password changes and keep a careful eye out for any future consequences of possible data harvesting.
