Tenerife

An epic ride from the coast up and over several high cols, hurtling back into valleys and then back up again. Close to mount Teide (extra with Ron doing a Brucie).

Fortunately I was being helped by the electric assistance on my bike but it was still hard work. Big respect to my pals who did the 100 km circuit on proper bikes. (First extra).

Several coffee and lunch stops were built in, partly in order to let me charge the battery on my bike.

Back to the hotel at 7.15 just in time for dinner.
