Stone Street

A gorgeous warm sunny day... but people are already talking about snow over the weekend. Out and about in the middle of the day, I stopped along Stone Street, an old roman road that runs in a straight line south from Canterbury to Lympne, about 12 miles in total. In this blip, the road passes through a patch of woodland near the village of Petham. In other news, #2 son Monty is off to Australia today – visiting friends in Melbourne, and with a short stop in Beijing on the way.
