Today is the first day I am using blipfoto and I thought I would show you my new garden wall that Leslie, my husband, constructed. We had two archways onto our courtyard until quite recently both of which were integrated into two existing walls. We returned from church one night to discover the wind had blown down one of the archways, narrowly missing my car but scattering debris all over the place. The second came down earlier this year when my cleaner/gardener was able to push it down with just a little pressure whilst bringing half the wall with it. On this occasion my little grandson was staying the following day and could so easily have done the same. There was nothing for it but a complete rebuild. It reminded me of the verse in the Bible that says, "unless God builds the house the labourer's work is in vain". As a Christian I am so grateful and glad that he is a part of my life and I do not have to labour in vain. I am also very pleased with my two new garden walls.
