It’s your turn to pay!

Out for lunch with a friend today and he took me to a local cafe for pie and chips. Apart from a similar dish in The Brownlow in North Yorkshire (10/10) this is the tastiest steak pie I can recall. The meat was tender and totally lean, the shortcrust pastry was just that and the gravy was plentiful and full of beefy deliciousness. The very chunky hand cut chips and mushy peas whilst very edible aren’t my style but no one made me eat it all. I’ll be back….(9.5/10)
