Grass Eggar Caterpillar
Otherwise known as a Lasiocampa trifolii moth.
Found by the Lake as we walked out to our old swimming spot - that's the water in the background.
Would you believe this is the only halfway decent photo I took all day; the other ones were of a distant duck family bobbing on the water, but too far away and too dark to make them out.
Gratefuls:
- Julia and Tom surviving all the changes in their first four years of married life, plus giving us a gorgeous granddaughter
- Paul and Mike managing to fix yet another glitch on the car - no indicators, plus getting the central locking working (more or less)
- my Coaching class with Sharon
And Paul and Felicity bringing back loads of wild asparagus from their walk up the Land and to the castle - which we ate in an omelette at lunchtime, and with gnocchi at dinner.
