Siberian Jay

Just as j was reflecting on the fact that I was carrying my camera everywhere but hadn’t got any wildlife shots, four Siberian Jays appeared in the trees next to us. They didn’t stay long and were constantly flipping about. I quickly took some shots balancing on my thin skis as I wasn’t sure I’d have time to take them off. See extras.

A local day of X-country skiing which was meant to be a short day but it was so lovely that we kept going. Back to the hotel for afternoon tea next to the fire.
