Calm Before The Storm

Thunder storms and calima (the orange sandy mud that falls from the sky courtesy of the Sahara) are forecast over the next few days and the weekend.

Although the rain that is promised would be most welcome, the calima would not.

Especially as we are forbidden to wash our cars and terraces due to the drought.

Last time it happened, it took a long time to clean all the orange mess away. Even without a hosepipe ban.
