Snake's Head Fritillary - Fritillaria meleagris

I'm always pleased to see this little flower in the garden. 
The weather has been a mix of bright sunshine and moneys later hail and rain, so I rushed out to take this in a dry moment,
According to Wikipedia Meleagris is Latin and means 'spotted like a guineafowl' I can see that.
