Rubbish Story

This is a story about a lovely old antique shop in beautiful Victoria Street, Edinburgh.

(I was bought a tiny tiny Victorian silver thimble that I can wear around my neck as a birthday pressie today !! I bought myself some pretty 18th century tiny keys.)

But the story is . . .
Shop is there from 1729 - Turner painted it in 1819 and picture is in National Gallery.
The present owner loves the shop and each piece he has for sale.
Large smelly rubbish bins have been placed in front of his shop and no letters or phone calls can get them moved. He is thinking of selling. Such a pity.
